Former Penn. Senator Rick Santorum won in 3 states last night , now the news media has made the story more about Romney not winning , but I am going to take this my way. Newt Gingrich lost more this is something , the fight has been who has more clout to beat Mitt Romney in the GOP. Mr. Gingrich has been saying it was him , who could do it and debate the current president, he used every debate for his advance. (OK, not the last two Florida debates). The question for Newt is , he really the person people want to be a nominee or the president? "Likability polls" show that Newt is not well liked by a lot of people ,Mitt Romney is not liked by conservatives , but is liked by moderates (kind of) , Ron Paul is the only other candidate with a high favorable number.
Newt Gingrich , I know his campaign was considered dead 3 times already,but when he gets ahead he screws up (pardon my ways) , and with that he can say will run through August , but he doesn't have the power too if he doesn't win alot. He will be going to Tampa ... for a visit to the convention but not to cause trouble ... if he cares about his party and no matter who wins his party's nomination.
I do think there maybe one more Mr.Gingrich surge it depends on how he acts for how it to go. Mitt Romney also needs to humanize himself and try to be himself . Play offense with his rivals not defense .

Rick Santourm is in the lead , he really doesn't have to change anything, he can continue to play the nice guy he has been doing , he's being himself that's what is working for him. Dr. Congressman Ron Paul is also doing well, (per say) ,much better than in 2008, why? Because he's not changeable in mind , when he doesn't support wars and gets called an isolationist , though they are using the word wrong , since in fact he wants to trade with other countries and not bundle up the US with giant walls. Back on track, Rick Santorum has a lead for now and it depends on what he has to by the Maine Caucus (Feb 11) , or the Michigan and Arizona Primary (Feb 28).
Is Mitt Romney in trouble and the media wants him to stay in the lead? , No I don't think he's in trouble ,I just think that he has a hard road ahead for him. If he wins the nomination the GOP (if they want to win) will have to go around him and root for him , even if they don't like him, but if they are willing to wait to 2016 and just keep the house and senate so there's that confusion.

What February means to each candiate

February doesn't have lots of debates , the elections are mostly caucuses, but it still means alot for each of the remaining candidates.

Mitt Romney , has 87 delegates he is in the lead of all the canidates but still has a long way to go , if he wants the nomination number (1,144) the up coming races are not winner take all, so he needs a higher precentage win to get the most delegates for that state. He it still looks good for him ,since a lot of the states are western states, which do have some higer percentage of Mormoms. He also has expirence with the west , since running in 2008 and the helping the 2002 Salt Lake City olympics.

Mr. Romney has strong leads in some states in polls.

DR.Ron Paul , has two things : time and money, he's betting on caucues (there are a lot of them this month) to move him forward. Caucues , unlike primaries, involve people going down to cauces station in the evening , and Dr. Paul's supporters are very furvent for him. His strong points could be the west and the Cauces, with supporters who are willing.

Newt Gingrich, February means a lot to him. He's dropping in some polls across the next few states, and Cauces could may not be his strong point. He needs to win high percentages or get a close (very close) second in these states or it's not good in March.

Rick Santorum , needs February as much as Newt needs it , he needs to raise more money and gain support, he needs strong showings in most of the February states.

Today, many websites are protesting bills up for vote in the congress, SOPA (Stop Online Piracy act ) ,and PIPA (Protect IP Act) , that the media industry says will stop piracy, but many websites say that parts of these bills would cause censorship, because it would allow the government to shutdown websites that have any connection to pirated materiel. Sites like english Wikipedia and reddit have shutdown for today , and others like Google have blacked out their logos.

The MPAA( The Motion Pictures association of America) says that this law is needed to stop content from being stolen.

Chris Dodd, the Chairman (and former senator , for full disclosure), said about the blackouts

"an abuse of power given the freedoms these companies enjoy in the marketplace today. It's a dangerous and troubling development when the platforms that serve as gateways to information intentionally skew the facts to incite their users in order to further their corporate interests."

Aw ,yes what happens this week in the world of politics.
1. South Carolina, South Carolina , South Carolina ,Candidates . robo-calls, and so much happening in this state as the primary happens on the 21st. All this week their will campaigning and advertisements. 2 debates
The First one is Monday at 9PMET On FOX NEWS CHANNEL
The other one is Thursday at 8PMET ON CNN
Even I am tired of these things.
Then the primary happens on Saturday ,so get your pop-corn ready.

2. Guess who comes back? The House is back and ready to run... for re-election , they do this every two years so why not? But it still congress maybe doing some more stuff this year so let's see

What South Carolina means for each Candidate

January 21st ,is the South Carolina Primaries and as the Republicans are still trying to figure out their nominee , he are my projections of what the primary means to each candidate.
Mitt Romney , After winning Iowa and New Hampshire , South Carolina could mean he is very close to locking up the nomination .
Rick Perry ,Really the beginning of the end was in the beginning with Iowa, not placing even 3rd will mean the end of his chances, though we don't honestly know when he'll get out.
Rick Santorum ,His Iowa placing ,really didn't help in New Hampshire , except that he did get fourth but with South Carolina's strong Christian base he could get a strong following. Though not placing anything higher than 3rd will not help him move on and it could be the end.
Ron Paul ,He is the surprise of this so far he took 3rd in Iowa, 2nd in New Hampshire he has a strong following , he attracts the young and new voters. His populist message could help him get to a top spot placing once again. He also has money to run on ,and the will to fight.
Jon Huntsman , I always wonder why some candidates try a one state strategy ,placing their bets on one state, Huntsman did that with New Hampshire , and came in 3rd. He needs to get some top spots in South Carolina and Flordia so he can the money to run on but otherwise he is done if he doesn't get at least 3rd.

NetFlix Canceles Qwikster

Today Netflix backtracks on separating it's DVD and streaming services. Before it even began. Here's my reason why I think so.
(1)Customers didn't like it.

Netflix announced earlier in the summer they are going to be raising their prices this made their subscribers mad, then they announced that they were going to split the services, that was last month. Consumers were mad but why? Well you would have to either choose between streaming only or DVD only or fork more and pay for both. Netflix still has much more in DVD's than it does in streaming. We remember the words hearing the sky in New York city was a perfect crisp blue and the sun was shining . only then to be blackened by a the World Trade center being attacked by hi-jacked planes. How have we as Americans gone in the past few years. Remember that feeling of being sad on that day, but hope prevailed and people started acting like people should. Hateful act so wrong so murderous was met with sadness, hope and revenge. Over 3000 people died and the New York skyline was changed a great hole was left literally and in people's hearts. For many it's not hard to forget this event and what it brought. Terrorism was the word of this new century now, We shouldn't fear we should learn. We should never this day forget , but it's history now and will always be , time goes on. For those families who lost them it's a painful day by day remembrance.
Innocent victims are lost, Heroes are made and time goes on. But as hope is what we should look too it's always there even in horrible times. As we mark the 10th anniversary , may our hearts remember and feel that hope that no matter what we go through we are still one America , even with different views and different stances, but yet can still be united is the most amazing hope I can thinkof.

The American government wants it's hits. As tries to figure out how to raise the debt ceiling and save that good credit rating of it. America does not deserve a good credit rating it has. If any person had debt like this , they could not raise their debt ceiling so they can go on spending or they won't have a good credit rating.
Making cuts has been called evil you are going to throw grandma over a cliff and make her work till she's 90. Which is false. Making cuts is moral obligation to our later generations. The government has been spending too much over. It's Former President Bush's fault and Current President Obama's fault. The Liberals and Democrats want to raise taxes, wait a second they make about $2 trillion dollars a year from taxes so what the heck are doing with it? They need their fix of more money to waste and that's not what we need. America's government is an addict they need their hit of money and we need to get them into rehab.
Fear has been used in the Debt ceiling crisis as the media has been calling it. First of the media has made Obama look like an innocent person in this , which he is not , where was his plan ? He just let congress have at it. America needs to have it's credit score lowered so the government that it's stupid spending has not worked. 3 wars with out real missions have not worked, making health care laws that will hurt businesses and workers has not worked, passing near trillion dollar stimulus package has not worked. The government needs to stop printing more money that is worthless and needs to stop spending so much on money and make cuts that need to made and reforms that need to be Made.

Where's common sense , they can't figure how to set up $2 trillion dollars to pay the stuff they need to pay and pay off the debt with making more debt are they that dumb? Cutting hurts , I know but at the same time they shouldn't have done it in the first place.

Mr. Obama wanted a debt ceiling raise that was just a clean install , then I those “racist” tea-parters, cause anyone who doesn't like the President is a racist thank you media. Said wait a second we'll give you a raise if you do cuts. Then said we'll give you cuts if you raise taxes so we can spend more stupidly , where the cuts mean nothing. The President came out last Monday gave a prime time speech whining The republicans don't wanna compromise. Still he didn't make his own plans he just wants to make the government gets it's sweet, addicting money.

So , We have raised the debt celling before , what's different? It's so high now we spend. As true addict they will blame everyone but them selves and government won't blame their stupidity. Obama blames Bush (Um... That was 3 years ago buddy), the tea-parters , and the Republicans (he liked it when the Democratic controlled congress would pass stimulus packages and health care plans for him with out ease and call the Republicans the party of NO). The Democrats blame the Republicans complaining they won't listen to them even though they won't listen to the GOP.

Bush and Obama need to take responsibility publicly and say to the American people who voted us in we are sorry and the congress people who did help in this spending under Obama or Bush need to apologize or get out. The Republicans who came in you may not like them or do but they won because they said they are tired of spending and government stupidity and they won the people's vote.

Instead of raising the taxes we need to change the tax laws and codes there are so many loop holes. The government got bigger over the past 10 years and that doubled spending it's time to stop. And if the president uses a clause in the 14th amendment to try to get around congress , it should be brought up to the supreme court and Obama should be brought up for impeachment if he does such over reach and technical law breaking.

It's morally wrong not to make cuts cause you will be hurting everyone else in the future and that is wrong to have them suffer cause you were an idiot. The government needs it's drugs taken away.

As the 2012 election campaign has pretty much started it surprises me to find a different Republican Party from before. Back in 2008 they were defending the Iraq war much like in 2004 . War-hawk , John McCain became the nominee for his party in 2008. President Obama when he was still a candidate was being the "anti-bush" man he wanted to make sure you associated John McCain with Former President Bush. He said he was going to close "Gitmo" but it's still open. He said he was going to end the Iraq war , there are still American troops there, he also expanded how many are in Afghanistan and now involved in Libya. Republicans in congress and the candidates are now saying get out of Libya and the other places because it costs too much. A change has been made alright. Sunday, Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) was fearing his party is become an isolationist party, sounds like 1900's there. I think that is a good move all these going into conflicts doesn't help the United States in the long run .
We don't need to be trying to help rebels in Libya who we still don't who they are and draining money that we can't spend right now. I like this new change in the GOP the party needed to embrace the idea we are not the world's savior and cops. The deficit that made larger by Mr.Bush was pretty much ignored until President Obama decided to make it larger, that wrong of both parties to that. If there is a Democrat who did not support the Iraq war but does support U.S involvement in LIbya that means you are supporting it only by your party and not by your own convictions. Wars are costly and it's only needed when we need to defend ourselves and Libya has not threatened us.

Sarah Palin is doing a bus tour, that means she's going to run! I said a couple of weeks ago that Mrs.Palin will not be running for the Republican nomination for the presidency in 2012 , I still say that. Sarah Palin who may have the taste for the Presidency in 2009 may have lost it in the few months. She is now doing books , tours, and TV. She may rather be wanting to have a TV show or a radio show or better yet she may be a person who brings donors to the Republicans helping other candidates run and show how conservative they are. She's been torn apart by the media in the past couple years , What do you think they would do if she was a presidential candidate? The media would love for her to be a candidate it would be like a dream job to attack her. Plus money speaks , she making more money than she was as governor , and more than a president would make. President Barark Obama tried to give his reasoning for the “No Fly zone” military action in Libya, A reason that was good to interfered in the affairs of another country that was not interfering with another country. A good reason to try to knock a leader out power of said country. I checked my calendar and made sure it wasn't 2003, it sure sounded like it was 2003. “Well Gadaffy is killing is own people”, some try to reason as answer. Mr. Obama and his crew tried to make a reason of why they are sending our streched military to Libya. They are helping people called the rebels , we don't even know who they are ,they could be terrorists groups and we helping people with out full information.

Former President Bush, did the same thing 2003 he what happened was he destroyed a buffer with Iran that Iraq provided. Iran was not a big a threat with Iraq alll powerful under Saddam Hussein. I am not for people killing people. But I am against doing something without critical reasoning.

President Obama talked to the idiots at the UN to help get into this situation, the approved it. Great Britain , who has great history with Libya including helping free a terrorist for oil contracts. France who gets their oil from Libya wanted to help their own interests.

The United States, France , and Great Britain have decided to interfere in a sovereign nations affairs. How dare we say what's right?! The moral objective was Obama trying to prove , he wanted to make sure we had a moral reason for this. Just like Bush. I guess when Obama campaigned in 2008 , McCain would be Bush term 3 or Bush more , I conclude he may have forgot to say so will I.

What if during our civil war , and another country had decided hey , the American president has authorized the killing of other Americans , which Lincoln did. May be should go and interfere with the sovereign nation.

Las Vegas-based Citadel had previously rejected a $31-a-share offer from Cumulus.

   The protesting in Libya over  Gaddafi , who led the country for 41 years , is getting a crackdown by the supporters of the dictator. The U.N froze his assets,last month. Talks of no-fly zones and invasion , is haste. The man is crazy. It's sad to see what he is doing but at the same time if we try to fix it he could probably go crazy and do unthinkable things. The situation is delicate  and needs to be treated carefully , the risks. The Pros and cons of what invasion or no fly zone means.  We should learn about thinking hasty doesn't work as well we have examples of that in chances of crisis. Just as in Egypt , what will happen shall happen and less people will die if we don't interfere in my own mind.

   These people are standing up for their rights , I believe that whole-heartily. We can't do anything good in this situation by using force  Gaddafi's days are numbered, we just don't how long he has but he lost all respect in the world and his country, he is an evil man. There is no need to make it look like we helped an evil man. Our intentions would have been good but that's not how it would look to them if it turns sour.
   We need to think clearly and rationally about this.

The House of Representatives passed a bill Tuesday that would extend funding for the federal government by another two weeks -- through March 18 -- while cutting $4 billion from current spending levels.The bill was approved in a 335-91 vote. Republicans overwhelmingly backed the measure while Democrats were sharply divided. It still needs to go through the senate.The debate still continues on a full year budget.

New Jersey governor , Chris Christe (R) was on CBS'S face the nation today , he says that he is not running for president , but does have some advice for candidates.Voters don't want candidates who are "blow-dried," scripted and try to "finesse" their way around tough issues with "poll-tested" answers He said on Face the nation

"you can't finesse it. And you have to have unscripted moments. You cannot be blow-dried and, you know, poll- tested and come out here. That's not what the American people want. They want somebody who is going to speak straight to them...And they want unguarded moments. That's when they can really judge your character."

"I'd begin with the imposition of a no-fly zone so that Gadhafi can't be attacking his own people from the air.""We've got to recognize the opposition provisional government as the legitimate government of Libya and that we ought to give that government certainly humanitarian assistance and military arms, not to go in on the ground ourselves, but give them the wherewithal to fight on behalf of the people of Libya against a really cruel dictator."

   Gas prices this week have increased 17¢ following a high rise of oil prices which are scratching between $90 to $100. Gas prices were highest in Hawaii, where drivers paid $3.761 a gallon, on average. Wyoming had the lowest gas prices at roughly, $3.032 a gallon. This could effect the American economy ,which is mostly consumer spending based . Oil prices have been driven higher by political unrest in North Africa and the Middle East, where much of the world's oil comes from. Despite the surge in prices this week, the amount of oil that has been taken off the world market has been relatively minimal.

VILLA RICA, Ga. — A Girl Scout leader says young members of her troop thought they were headed to jail when a Georgia police officer told them to quit selling cookies.The city's police chief and mayor spoke with the officer. They say he did nothing wrong and that it was a misunderstanding.
The troop now has a permit to sell. And to smooth things over, the city is offering the scouts a pizza party.

He said , ""There's been a lot of talk about a poll that came out last night," Trump said in the video. "The fact is I'm not campaigning, and I'll make a decision sometime in June. But I'm not that surprised." He was alluding to a Daily Beast Poll that had him only 2 points behind Obama.

The Discovery was delayed by 4 months due to fuel tank problems, that shows the age of these shuttles. The next 2 missions will be done by Endeavorer. Atlantis was retired last year.

Gov. Neil Abercrombie signed same-sex civil unions into law Wednesday, granting gay and lesbian couples the same state rights as married partners. It will start January 1st 2012, becoming the 7th State to approve it. Arguments over civil unions and gay marriage have long divided the state, which nearly became the first in the nation to legalize gay marriage in 1993 because of a state Supreme Court ruling.

The GOP has another candidate announcing they are not running.

South Dakota Senator John Thune announced today that he will not run for President. Citing "this period of fiscal crisis and economic uncertainty," Thune wrote on his website that "at this time, I feel that I am best positioned to fight for America's future here in the trenches of the United States Senate." He is the second canidate from the Republican Party deciding not to run for 2012 election.

Pa. School middle school girls sue over 'I heart boobies' bracelet ban. The American Civil Liberties Union believes the lawsuit is the first in the country over a school’s ban on the $4 bracelets, which are designed to raise breast-cancer awareness among young people. The rubber jewelry has become wildly popular among students, prompting bans across the country.

Ethics panel gives 13 charges against Rangel

Washington D.C news update- Thursday the house ethics panel found accused 20-term rep. from NY Charles Rangel 13 violations of House rules involving alleged financial wrongdoing and harming the credibility of Congress. Charges include using his influence to solicit money from coperate heads for a collage fund that in name of him. He had to step down from the House ways and means committee earlier this year due to the charges. Other charges involve alleged income tax and financial disclosure violations, as well as improper use of government mail service and letterhead. Many house dems want him to step down due to fears in the election year that he may show up corruption. He also could face jail time.
