Diane Sawyer is the choice she took the spot as ABC WORLD NEWS primary anchor this month after Charles Gibson retired. She has become the second female to become the main of anchor evening news after Katie Couric on CBS ,who Sawyer is now competing against. To be found ironic that Diane and Couric used to compete in the Morning. She left her morning job at Good Morning America to take the spot. What can be said on how she has changed the news in evening which is going into a different trend with more viewers leaving the evening news for more other things like Cable TV news and the internet. She's the choice for this spot but when we have another journalist for our twitter section coming up. She's going a new path in News and this will be seen as a new idea for a news time that needs something new.
