Choice 2016: New York Times endorses candidates

Choice 2016

The New York Times  editorial  board has announced their endorses for the 2016 presidential election.    On the Democratic party side , they have picked   Hillary Clinton  , who the also endorse in 2008.  They call  that she is tougher on guns ,  she has "done her homework" on the woman pay gap issue , her work on tough Iran sanctions , and here  work as defense secertary.  Finishing with :
Hillary Clinton is the right choice for the Democrats to present a vision for America that is radically different from the one that leading Republican candidates offer — a vision in which middle-class Americans have a real shot at prosperity, women’s rights are enhanced, undocumented immigrants are given a chance at legitimacy, international alliances are nurtured and the country is kept safe.
Meanwhile on the Republican side they are endorsing Ohio Governor , John Kasich.
 Stating  :
The battle to be the Republican choice for president has been nasty, brutish and anything but short. The hope among some Republicans is that the Iowa caucuses on Monday and the New Hampshire primary on Feb. 9 will promote a candidate who can appeal to the half of their electorate that doesn’t support the two current front-runners.
Saying the is the only plausible choice for those Republicans  who may not be in the Trump or Cruz sides.
Gov. John Kasich of Ohio, though a distinct underdog, is the only plausible choice for Republicans tired of the extremism and inexperience on display in this race. And Mr. Kasich is no moderate. As governor, he’s gone after public-sector unions, fought to limit abortion rights and opposed same-sex
But they state that his  ability to compromise  and his ideas that government has some use contrasts him to the others.

Choice 2016: Scott Walker Drops out of race

Choice 2016

After a drop in a recent poll by CNN ,  Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker , has decided to make his exit from the race, Monday.
He also urged  other members of the party, running to do the same saying  today :
"Today, I believe that I am being called to lead by helping to clear the field in this race so that a positive, conservative message can rise to the top of the field. With this in mind, I will suspend my campaign immediately,"
"I encourage other Republican presidential candidates to consider doing the same so that the voters can focus on a limited number of candidates who can offer a positive, conservative alternative to the current front-runner," said Walker, referencing businessman Donald Trump. "This is fundamentally important to the future of our party, and, more important, the future of the country."

He is the 2nd republican to drop out of the race  , the first being former Texas Governor , Rick Perry,  a couple weeks ago.  The field is now down to 15 candidates and now wonderment on who else might be choosing to leave the race.

The splash and current Front runner also gave his comment on Gov. Walker's decision.

The Obligatory Daylight Saving Time News Story

#NEWSLINE
       Written By Skyler
       Croglog
On March 9th , America (with the exception of most of Arizona and Hawaii)  will be setting it's clocks one hour ahead again. Good Ole fashion Standard time gets pushed off at 2AM , and on the 9th 2AM won't exist.  The fun spring forward so you think you are getting an extra hour of sunlight because the sun will be going down   at 7 PM instead of  6 PM because 7 PM was 6 PM .  You will also experience symptoms of the clock change including confusion :  e.g. ,  thinking that it's  2:15 when it's 3:15 , not feeling sleepy at the time you normally feeling sleepy, you wake up see it's dark outside and go back the bed then only to find out it's not 5:30 AM but 6:30 AM and now are running late.

Meanwhile  the annual story about Daylight saving time being bag for your health is always something to look at ,   for instance, Daylight Saving time may help your wreck your  Green Ford Focus.  (read that link you will see what I mean )
The lucky ones are in Arizona , who saw no need for extending daylight because anything to make it less than 112 degrees is a help. I wouldn't mind on a hot day that sun would go down at like 12PM  until fall.  The lucky ones in Hawaii who don't need it because it's Hawaii.

So anyway there's not much else to say  so if you live in the areas affected by daylight saving time , don't forget to remember that it happened , and set your clocks a head.
